Calm is the first word that comes to my mind when I look at this guy's pictures. I also remember him being like that in person. His style is a mix of styles [Michael Jackson, Zorro, Prada fur scarfs] but he put it all together so well and in such a unique and sophisticated manner that is very difficult to categorize. Notice the tucked in green jacket. Just feel like if we ever went to his place we would find a white furry cat and a gold throne chair in his living room. LOVE!

Seriously? I'm sure he's a nice guy if you say so, but that outfit is funny to me. I know a thing or two about fashion, only because of a certain family member, and I don't think funny is something people aim for. Looking at his outfit reminds me of The Emperor's Clothes, remember that story? So I'll take a risk at being the unpopular one here and say that outfit is just plain silly.
ReplyDeletehehe... diane, u r definitely entitled to your opinion..and u are always welcome to voice exactly that on DSM. i utterly appreciate it [so much better than comments like "wow" or "cool" which mean nothing much]..i think clothing, when worn in character or in an imaginary story that u feel like being a part of in your mind is very very interesting and cool. im sure this guy feel the same way too judging from his style... there r no rules and funny can be a fashion statement too.. its only a matter of personal aesthetic and opinion. maybe he thinks ppl who dress in jeans and a tee r funny... individuals as we are , we have to celebrate our uniqueness in all forms. no? life is fantastic in fantasy. why not life in one! hehe
DeleteYes, you are right. I forgot about the young side of fashion. Being older, fashion is a bit dodgy now. It's become a matter of picking the right "fun" pieces without looking like some poor pathetic woman who is trying to be 20. So in this guy's defense, I must say it is a very elegant fantasy fashion that he has going.
