Gilt.com's Alexis Maybank uses DSM iPhone case: Shop

In the attempt to take this blog a step forward and to find some additional source of income ;-), I developed this product: a Don't Shoe Me Iphone case. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting with Gilt.com's co-founder Alexis Maybank and I gave her one of the cases and she genuinely fell in love with it instantly and put it on her iPhone right away! Asked me to take a picture with it and I am still floating somewhere between seventh heaven and cloud number 9. It's so encouraging! Thank you so much Alexis!

You can get one too for $20 a pop. Shipping not included for international addresses. U.S is free. Just send me a note in the comments with your EMAIL ADDRESS or you can email me directly at info@dontshoeme.com and I will get back to you via email.

The case is for an iPhone 4 and 4s only. It's plastic and comes in a bunch of fab colors and each one has a rhinestone bindi. Please see below for the colors available. I have to say for my first ever attempt at any product designing and getting it made, I am quite happy with the output. A big shout-out again to Tamara Waakop Reijers for her fab logo design. Things can only get better from here right?

BTW, this is a VERY VERY LIMITED EDITION. I have only a bunch of them, so act fast!!

Manklet: Street Fashion

Images by Prutha Raithatha

These were literally some of the first images I ever took on my DSLR [that was new then] 1.5 years ago. This guy was soo sooo cute I cannot tell you. Utter fun and super excited to tell me all about his anklets he had bought from India which went perfectly well with his sandals me thinks.

Bisous to all the good people like him out there! You make the world a funner place!

Urban Gypsy: Personal Fashion

Images by Jackie Russo

Gypsy Skirt worn as a dress: Thrifted; Shoes: Courtesy of Miista; Neckalce: OS Accessories; Hat: Thrifted; Leather Vest: All Saints

Lately I have been going in and out of shops more quickly than I do in and out of a public restroom. I can't seem to find myself be interested in most of the stores that I used to frequent. Everything seems the same and boring.

I know this may sound highly highly cliched, but what's true is true. I have only been shopping at vintage / thrift stores lately. I find the most unique and interesting things there and I love scoring one of things. This velvet patchwork gypsy skirt [worn as a dress cause it's so long] was one find from a thrift store in the Palm Spring desert in California. The rest is just me goofing off :)
